This adorable good boi is quickly becoming a social media sensation thanks to his rare coloration. At just 17 months old, this pup’s pale pink fur and skin really helps him stand out from the crowd.
Milkshake’s owner, Maria, chose him when he was 10 weeks old. Maria had this to say about why she decided to bring him home. Apparently, he can thank his unusual pigment to an albino pug in his lineage.
“I had never even heard of pink pugs before, but when I went to the breeder and spotted Milkshake I thought he was adorable, and knew I had to have him.
They’re very rare. At the time, I think Milkshake was one of 30 in the world but there have been a few litters. There’s no more than 100 worldwide.
He’s not actually albino – he just has the coloring so he doesn’t suffer from any sight loss or hearing loss. He’s a happy healthy boy.”

Here’s a little good news for Americans in regard to the coronavirus. Those who are actually staying at home are truly making a difference.
248 million Americans in at least 29 states have now been told to stay at home by governing authorities. Thanks to new data from Kinsa Health, it is clear that social distancing is helping to save lives.
As the new orders were enacted, the data’s live map showed that fevers were either dropping or holding steady almost universally across America.
Dr. William Schaffner, a preventative medicine expert at Vanderbilt University said, “I’m very impressed by this. It looks like a way to prove that social distancing works.”
People have also been pleased with the opportunity to work from home in many cases.
