Posted on Facebook yesterday, a woman shared something strange her security camera picked up on Saturday night after darkness fell.
Some call it the comeback of Dobby, the house elf from the Harry Potter series that died a tragic death in the sixth movie.
Vivian Gomez posted the clip on her Facebook with the caption that one of her security cameras picked it up the night before, with two others not capturing anything. She says the figure appears to be walking away from her front door, but she has never seen anything like it near her home.

Sorry, Harry Potter fans. This probably isn’t a viral marketing video to promote a new movie. The resemblance is impressive, though. The figure is short when compared to the car in the driveway, with large ears and skinny legs. It appears to ‘dance’ as it passes the car before the clip cuts off.
Some people believe it is a hoax after a Twitter user pointed out a strange ‘extra’ shadow near the car, indicating that it could be a puppet with a puppet master. Others believe there is nothing to worry about, and the famous house elf has returned to keep Gomez and her family safe.
