We all know what Donald Trump’s hair looks like, whether we’d like to or not. The iconic bouffant has been a signature style of his for years.
And while we’ve seen it messed up by the wind – and Jimmy Fallon – few have ever seen it styled differently. That is, until now.
On Friday, Trump made an unannounced stop at an evangelical church in Virginia on Sunday, following Friday’s mass shooting. It was then that photographers and reporters noticed the unusual change.
Instead of his typical pouf, he sported a more slicked back style – more like that of his sons.
Though some have speculated as to whether or not the president’s new hairdo was intentional, it’s unlikely that it was.
A much more probable cause for the change in style is that Trump had just come from a golf outing. He arrived still wearing his golf shirt and shoes. Plus, there was also a hint of discomfort in his face when he removed his baseball cap.
The likely story is that Trump simply had hat hair. Though some are still wondering if he’ll don the same ‘do when he meets the Queen in London this week. A surprising number of people were actually fans of the new look, too – hat hair or not. Some said it looked more conservative, and that it made him appear younger, others claimed it was more “presidential.”
Of course, by the end of the day, he was already back to his trademark style.
