Rumble CEO makes $100 million offer to Joe Rogan to leave Spotify

Amid the backlash Joe Rogan is receiving from some people who want him kicked off of Spotify, the CEO of competitor Rumble made an offer to entice Rogan to move to its platform, the Daily Wire reported.

“How about you bring all your shows to Rumble, both old and new, with no censorship, for 100 million bucks over four years?” Chris Pavlovski, CEO of Rumble wrote to Rogan in an open letter on Twitter which included a graphic of the offer. “And yes, this is totally legit.”

Meta Platforms Inc., the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, threatens to shut down the social media sites in Europe. The warning comes amid a dispute over data transfer to the US, with the European Court of Justice ruling Meta doesn’t adequately protect privacy. Meta says it may shut down its services to Europe if it can’t keep transferring user data back to the US, CNBC reported.

“Meta cannot just blackmail the EU into giving up its data protection standard,” a lawmaker said. “Leaving the EU would be their loss.”

“I can confirm that life is very good without Facebook and that we would live very well without Facebook,” French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said, Bloomberg reported.
