Ozzy’s new tour has been canceled thanks to the aftermath of a medical emergency that he’s been grappling with.
The Prince of Darkness himself has stated that he’s “not dying” and that he’s just “bored stiff” being confined to a hospital bed. Doctors, however, have told the heavy metal legend that he’s “lucky to be alive” and needs to keep up the bedrest.
Ozzy had to cancel the tour due to ongoing complications from a rough fall he took a little while back. As a result of the fall, he’s had to have extensive surgery on his neck and back.
In an interview, he confided “I’ve got more nuts and bolts in my neck than in my f*****g car!” The foul-mouthed rocker pulled no punches, describing the myriad procedures required to put him back together.
While the existing tour dates have been canceled, fans need not get too sad. Osbourne has promised that he’ll be making up the concert dates, and the tour should only be considered postponed. “You’re just gonna have to be a little bit more patient. I’m postponing the European tour because I’m not ready.
“I’m not retiring – I’ve still got gigs to do. But when I do come back on an American tour, I wanna be one hundred percent ready to come out and knock your f***ing socks off.”
The European tour was set to kick off in January 2020, though, at the time of this writing, no make-up dates have been announced. His American tour dates, which kick off in May, are scheduled to go ahead as normal.
Ozzy’s not just dealing with medical issues. His longtime wife, Sharon, recently took him back after a high-profile fling with a hairdresser was made public. Speaking of the different women Ozzy has cheated on her with, Sharon stated “There were six of them: some Russian teenager, then a masseuse in England, our masseuse out here, and then our cook,” she began.
“He had women in different countries. Basically, if you’re a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you.”
