10 major cities are being targeted by ICE, including Houston, Baltimore, Chicago, and Miami.

Who Is Being Targeted?

It isn’t just the 2,000 immigrants who have been ordered to deport for reasons that include missing court dates or having expired visa’s, but also ‘collateral’ immigrants. If ICE enters a home with 5 illegal immigrants but only have ‘orders’ to take 3 in, they are authorized to bring all 5 with them.

Details Not Yet Released

ICE has refused to go into detail on the raids, expressing concern for their own officers. Many agents have shown hesitation when collecting young children or babies in similar raids, so it’s unclear how this will play out in the coming week.

Videos and info sheets are going viral online with this news, all describing how to protect yourself from an ICE raid. Because ICE cannot force themselves into a home, if you do not answer the door they don’t have any other choice but to leave.
