Women are getting less sleep, and a new study says that their partners are the culprits.
A survey that looked at 2,000 British couples found that women are missing out on about three hours of sleep each night.
One in two women say they feel “constantly sleep-deprived,” and this survey is making it easy to see why. One in three women says they wake up every single night.
25 percent of women surveyed said that they don’t get enough sleep because of their partner’s snoring, while 14 percent said it was because they had to get up with the kids throughout the night.
Sleep and the lack of it can affect so many aspects of our lives and can certainly influence our mental and physical health.
A whopping 73 percent of women who participated in the study said that they’re “at their wit’s end,” and a third of the women feel depressed.
Lack of sleep can cause memory issues, mood changes, depression, weight gain, high blood pressure, and even weakened immunity.
