Kim Jon Un in Grave Danger After Undergoing Surgery

The US is currently monitoring intelligence suggesting that Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s leader, is now in grave danger after having a previous surgery.

Speculation started rising after Kim missed the April 15 celebration of his grandfather’s birthday. He had been seen four days prior to that at a government meeting.

An online newspaper in South Korea, Daily NK, reported that Kim had recently undergone a cardiovascular system procedure on April 12, which can cause complications such as a stroke triggered by afib.

The last time that Kim appeared in North Korean state media was on April 11, and there was no official mention of Kim’s movements on April 15, which is North Korea’s most important holiday. It celebrates the birth of the country’s founding father.

Bruce Klingner, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former CIA deputy division chief for North Korea had a few words on the matter:

“There have been a number of recent rumors about Kim’s health (smoking, heart, and brain). If Kim is hospitalized, it would explain why he wasn’t present on the important April 15th celebrations,” he said.

“But, over the years, there have been a number of false health rumors about Kim Jong Un or his father. We’ll have to wait and see,” continued Klingner.

Netflix Takes First Place Over Disney, Now Worth More Money

Thanks to the coronavirus, Netflix has seen huge fluctuations in stock prices. As a result, their service is being more widely used, and is now worth more than even Disney.

Disney has also moved lower in the ranks because they’ve had to close their theme parks. They also own ESPN, which has seen its share price fall.

Bob Iger, Disney chairman, said the company at least has enough capital to “keep us more than solvent through a prolonged period.” But, he doesn’t expect that the company will be the same after the coronavirus outbreak ends.

He added, “I don’t think we’re ever going to see a return to business as usual.”

Land O’Lakes Removes ‘Racist’ Native American Packaging

You might be familiar with Land O’ Lake’s iconic packaging that features a Native American woman. However, they have now released new packaging that shows the “Farmer-Owned” Land O’ Lakes with an evergreen wilderness.

The company released a statement announcing the new packaging without mentioning the removal of the Native American woman.

“The new packaging will show up in a variety of ways, including through a new front-of-package design that features the phrase ‘Farmer-Owned’ above the LAND O LAKES brandmark, ‘Since 1921’ below it and a vibrant illustration of land and lakes,” read the statement.

“Some products, including stick butter, will also include photos of real Land O’Lakes farmers and co-op members and copy that reads ‘Since 1921’ and ‘Proud to be Farmer-Owned: As a farmer-owned co-op, we stand together to bring you the very best in dairy.”
