A 9-year-old little girl is lucky to be alive today after an incident that happened on Monday at the Yellowstone National Park. Another visitor captured everything on video, and it is amazing that the girl survived.
The day started like any other at the park, but the visitors took a little too much liberty with how close they were standing to the bison. There was a group of about 50 people who were standing only 5-10 feet away, when the bison suddenly started to charge towards them.
What happened next is that the little girl went flying into the air, and was rushed to the nearby Old Faithful Clinic. She was treated and then released, and no further details have been released at this time about the extent of her injuries.
The National Park Service issued a reminder that guests should be careful about approaching wildlife, and the incident is currently under investigation.
