Once again, President Donald Trump managed to shock the world while being interviewed by Chris Wallace of Fox News. Here are five of the most extraordinary moments that took place.
While being interviewed by Chris Wallace, President Trump made several surprising comments.
During the interview, Trump spoke about a cognitive test that he “aced,” saying that Joe Biden should take the same test. Wallace then revealed that he’d already taken the test.
“It’s not the hardest test,” said Wallace. “They have a picture and it says ‘What’s that,’ and it’s an elephant.”
However, Trump insisted that Wallace misrepresented the test and that it wasn’t that easy.
“I’ll bet you couldn’t. They get very hard, the last five questions,” said Trump.
A Fox News poll was mentioned during the interview that shows Trump losing to Joe Biden by eight points. Other polls show similar results.
“I’m not losing, because those are fake polls,” said Trump. Not only did Trump deny the data from the polls, but he also said he’d refuse to accept the result of November’s presidential election if he loses.
“I have to see. Look, I have to see. No, I’m not going to just say yes. I’m not going to say no, and I didn’t last time either,” said Trump.

The interview became combative when Trump was pressed about the death of more than 140,000 Americans from the coronavirus. Trump defected by saying the US had “one of the lowest in the world,” in terms of mortality rates. However, Wallace disagreed.
“It’s not true, Sir,” said Wallace. As a result, Trump asked his press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, to “please bring me the mortality rate.”
“You have the numbers, please?” asked Trump. “Because I hear we have the best mortality rate. Number, number one low mortality rate. I hope you show this on-air because it shows what fake news is about.”
“I don’t think I’m fake news,” said Wallace. Wallace then showed a montage of comments Trump has made about Covid-19, saying that it will eventually just “disappear.”
“I’ll be right eventually,” said Trump in response. “It is going to disappear. I’ll say it again. It’s going to disappear and I’ll be right.”
Trump then went on to claim that White House expert Dr. Anthony Fauci is “an alarmist,” and when asked about the current daily death toll of 1,000 Americans losing their lives to the virus each day, Trump responded, “It is what it is.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has been negative about Dr Fauci. For example, he retweeted a “Fire Fauci” tweet in mid-April. One has to wonder if Trump has ever sought out finger arthritis relief with how often he posts on Twitter.
The Pentagon is currently considering renaming military bases that honor Confederate leaders. However, Trump doesn’t share the same sentiment.
“I don’t care what the military says. I’m supposed to make the decision.” Trump claimed that the federal government couldn’t find other names.
“We’re going to name it after the Rev Al Sharpton?” asked Trump. “What are you going to name it?”
An astounding claim was made by Trump during the interview, where he revealed that in two weeks’ time, he expects to sign a new healthcare plan. Wallace pointed out that over the past three years, Trump has never revealed his promised replacement.
“We’re signing a healthcare plan within two weeks, a full and complete healthcare plan that the supreme court decision on DACA gave me the right to do.
“So we’re going to solve–we’re going to sign an immigration plan, a healthcare plan, and various other plans. And nobody will have done what I’m doing in the next four weeks.”
