2 McDonald Employees Shot by Angry Customers Over Closed Dining Room

Two 16-year-old McDonald’s workers were shot after they told two customers the dining room was closed. The upset customers, two female suspects, are now in police custody.

The shooting happened inside of an Oklahoma McDonald’s located at SW 89th and Pennsylvania Avenue. It happened shortly before 6:25 pm on Wednesday.

One worker was shot in the right shoulder. The other was shot in the left arm. The injuries suffered by both male employees are not life-threatening.

A female employee was also hurt during the altercation after allegedly falling and hitting a piece of furniture.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo Helped Clean NYC Subways During a Tour of MTA Facility

During a tour on Saturday of a MTA maintenance facility in Queens, Gov. Andrew Cuomo took the chance to try disinfecting the subway car himself.

“Do you guys need a hand?” asked Cuomo as he walked onto the subway car.

They replied, “We’re good,” but Cuomo was undeterred. He grabbed a hose and started to spray disinfectant below a train seat.

“God bless you,” said Cuomo to the workers. “Thank you so much for doing this, guys. Thank you.”

The cleanings began on Wednesday and will last from 1 am to 5 am. Bleach, among other disinfectants, will be used.

“They have to go through the train with a misting device and spray disinfectant literally on every surface,” said Cuomo during a briefing at the Flushing maintenance yard.

“There are reports that say the virus can live two or three days on some surfaces like stainless steel,” Cuomo continued. “You look at the inside of a subway car, you look at the rails, the bars, they’re all stainless steel.”

Florida Man Stalks Beaches Dressed as a Grim Reaper to Protest Reopening

Last Friday, Florida’s Gov. DeSantis announced that the state parks would soon reopen. This was announced even as the coronavirus continues to spread, and even Death himself was seen stalking the local beaches.

To be fair, the Grim Reaper was actually Daniel Uhlfelder. He works as a lawyer and campaigner for public beach access. He dressed as the Reaper in an attempt to alert Floridians of the dangers of reopening the economy too soon.

In an interview with CNN, Uhlfelder said, “We aren’t at the point now where we have enough testing, enough data, enough preparation for what’s going to be coming to our state from all over the world from this pandemic.”

“I know how beautiful and attractive our beaches are. But if we don’t take measures to control things, this virus is going to get really, really out of control.”

While some might think little things like vitamin supplements will protect them from the virus, a little common sense can go much further.
