An Elle magazine columnist has accused Donald Trump of sexual assault in a department store dressing room in the mid-1990s.
Donald Trump is again the subject of sexual misconduct accusations. This time, E. Jean Carroll, who wrote for Elle magazine, said in a CNN interview that Trump threw her up against a wall in a fitting room of Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan.
The incident happened in 1995 or 1996.
Trump fired back by claiming that he doesn’t know Carroll and the incident never happened, calling her a liar. He also said that he wouldn’t have sexually assaulted Carroll because “she’s not my type.”
Even though President Trump claims he had never met Carroll, the two were photographed together at a party in 1987, along with Carroll’s former husband.
This isn’t the first time Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct. In fact, more than a dozen women have come forward with accusations of sexual misconduct that took place before he was elected president.
In the past, Trump has rejected those accusations in the same manner, by claiming that the women were not attractive enough for him to have sexually assaulted them.
