After Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman’s testimony yesterday during the public impeachment hearing against President Donald Trump, many raised concerns over the rhetoric that the President expressed on social media – and what it could mean for Vindman’s safety, and the safety of his family.
Now, Vindman has reached out to the Army in case he and his family need to move to a “secured” location due to threats against his life. It’s a scary place when an Army officer is concerned about the safety of his family, all because of public testimony under oath.
Vindman testified yesterday afternoon in front of the Senate at the public impeachment hearings, where he told them at the President’s conversation with the President of Ukraine was “inappropriate”, and he knew “without hesitation” that he needed to report the call.
The call, that took place on July 25, is the center of the impeachment inquiry. President Donald Trump is accused of speaking inappropriately to Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, including suggesting that the US would withhold aide unless Zelensky and Ukraine investigate then-Democratic frontrunner for the 2020 election, Joe Biden.
Despite what Trump tweeted yesterday, Vindman is an expert on Ukraine and was on the call. He did not have to “read the transcript”, as Trump suggested, nor has Vindman ever publically expressed that he was a “never Trumper”.
Trump tweeted this during Vindman’s testimony yesterday, which shows that he is still following the public hearings as much as he can.
Supposedly, according to the Corrupt Media, the Ukraine call “concerned” today’s Never Trumper witness. Was he on the same call that I was? Can’t be possible! Please ask him to read the Transcript of the call. Witch Hunt!

Another funny thing to note about this is that Vindman didn’t just say that he was concerned – he called the call itself and the conversation “inappropriate”, and the discussion was “improper”.
“It is improper for the president of the United States to demand a foreign government to investigate a US citizen and political opponent.”
There were already concerned a few weeks ago when Trump was slamming Twitter with tweets asking for information about the whistleblower that leaked the call information to the press, suggesting that those who are whistleblowers are traitors and should be treated as such. In case there is any question here, that would be with execution.
While no moves have been made as of now, a spokesman for the Army, Col. Kathy Turner, said that they are looking into threats against Vindman and his family and that they take his safety seriously.
“The army will work with civilian authorities to ensure that he and his family are properly protected,” she said.
If needed, the Army is prepared to move Vindman to a secure facility to an Army base to ensure he and his family are properly protected.
