Ten-Year-Old Kid Demonstrates Tom Brady Cheated and Wins Science Fair

A 10-year-old boy won his school his school science fair with a project that demonstrates that Tom Brady cheated during the 2015 NFL playoffs.

This was the AFC championship game that saw the Patriots defeat the Colts amid controversy over air pressure in the footballs the quarterback used.

Kid figures out what NFL spent millions on

Recalling the so-called “inflategate” or “deflategate” debacle, where Tom Brady was alleged to have intentionally ordered a deflating of the air pressure of footballs that were used during the AFC championship game in 2015 between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts.

The NFL hired high-priced attorneys, issued a number of subpoenas, in a case that nearly went to the Supreme Court.

During the investigation, the NFL found “substantial and credible evidence” that Brady knew employees of the Patriots were deflating footballs. Brady was also admonished for a failure to cooperate with investigators.

Eventually, the case went all the way to the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, in a unanimous decision by the judges on the 13-member panel, rejecting Brady’s appeal of a four-game suspension. Brady ultimately announced he would not appeal further and accepted his suspension at the beginning of the 2016 NFL season.

The ruling also caused the NFL rules committee to change the rules for the way it inspects footballs used during the season in order to prevent tampering.

Just a few seasons later, a ten-year-old kid has reached the same conclusions with a simple school science project.

Kid makes an excellent case

A 10-year-old boy named Ace Davis made a strong and well-researched case with his school science project, which included section such as: problem, hypothesis, procedure, materials, pictures, research, graph, results, and conclusion.

In the research portion of the kid’s project, he included NFL rules about the ball.

But the clincher was his graphs and results, which looked at various distances and averages based on different amounts of air pressure. It also considered the accuracy under these conditions.

The final analysis

The kid came to the same conclusion as the NFL for a pittance of the cost.

Ace Davis wrote: “The Patriots were found guilty of doctoring footballs, thus losing $1,000,000 and future draft picks. Tom Brady is indeed a cheater.”

After winning his school science project, Ace will move on to the school district competition.

Davis’ father shared complete photos of the project on his Facebook page.
