If you’re a human being living in the US right now, odds are good that you’re stuck indoors for the foreseeable future. Many people have recently focused on the internet to provide fun, increasing the demand for cloud services security and greatly increasing the amount of internet traffic in the US.
While being stuck at home is far from fun, there are lots of things you can do to pass the time while you wait for things to return to normal. For example, Disney just released a new website with tons of fun content to keep you and your kids entertained.
The site, called Disney Magic Moments, allows kids (and adults!) to enjoy a wide variety of content that will help keep them sane while self-isolating. Not that anyone really has much of a choice, anyway, as everything they could do is currently shut down.
The site carries a lot of Disney content and activities. In some ways, it functions as a version of a Disney theme park from your computer. There are, of course, virtual rides that simulate those you’d find in one of the entertainment company’s parks. Interestingly, some of these allow you to take virtual rides through each regional variation of a ride.
The theme-park style fun doesn’t stop there, either. The site has videos of park employees singing iconic songs from Disney movies. There are even videos of Disney stars reading from picture books.
Disney Magic Moments includes activities to keep kids engaged, too. One such activity helps teach kids some artistic skills by showing them how to draw Olaf, the popular snowman character from Frozen. Additionally, a new series, called “At Home with Olaf,” is available through the service.
Everything on the site is treated with that special Disney charm that makes it feel, well, magical. Presentation is everything when it comes to entertainment, so a site that is able to be presented in the same manner as a Disney park is something commendable.
The site even offers Disney and Pixar-themed backgrounds for both your computer and your virtual meetings. Looking for a good workout? How about workouts inspired by the dance routines from your favorite Disney properties? You can find them on this new site.
The world is crazy and kind of scary right now. We’re all bored, waiting for the go-ahead to return to normal. In the meantime, we might as well have some silly fun with some Disney characters.
