A full-time blunt roller is on Snoop Dogg’s payroll. Seriously.
During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, the legendary rapper and known pot fiend Snoop Dogg discussed his unusual payroll, which includes a full-blown professional blunt roller.
Joe Rogen, who was also present and is a serious weed aficionado, laughed and stated that he loved that guy.
Joe Rogen divulged that he had encountered Snoop’s professional rolled many times, stating that he loved the guy’s timing. “He’s always got a blunt in his hand at the right time,” Rogen joked with Snoop.
Snoop agreed, stating “Timing. That motherf***er’s timing is impeccable. That’s his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resumé, it says, ‘What do you do?’ ‘I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.’” Laughing, Snoop added, “If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring you.”
Howard Stern, playing along with this nonsense, asked how much money a PBR makes. “That’s somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year,” the legendary rapper stated matter-of-factly. For the curious, that works out to around $24 per hour to hang out with Snoop Dogg and roll his blunts.
That’s not all the PBR gets, either. Snoop continued: “Free weed – all paid expenses. Everything I get, he gets. I go get some free clothes, I give him some.” So, $24 per hour, all expenses paid and you get to hang out with Snoop and enjoy all the perks that come with being close to a freaking legendary rapper.
Rogen made it clear that this guy isn’t just hanging out, taking it easy and rolling all day for kicks. “He knows how to gauge the look on somebody’s face when it seems like they want a blunt, and if they do, he gives you one,” Rogen stated.
The podcast host continued “There’s been like 40 minutes where I’m like, ‘I’m just watching this guy and I’m just going to see what is going on here.’ As someone who smokes a lot of weed, it’s f***ing fascinating.”
After sharing some laughs, Rogen audibly wondered if he should consider getting a PBR for himself.
