A mob describing itself as left-wing Antifa protesters assembled outside the home of Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson on Wednesday night, chanting, breaking his door, as one protester can be heard on video mentioning a pipe bomb.
“Tucker Carlson, we will fight. We know where you sleep at night,” the mob chanted outside of his Washington, D.C., home.
On Facebook, a group known as Smash Racism, D.C., posted a now-deleted video of the incident, with members of the mob chanting “Racist s—bag, leave town.”
The group wrote that Carlson spreads “fear into our homes,” and said they wanted to even the score.
“Each night you remind us that we are not safe. Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either,” the group wrote on Facebook.
Carlson’s wife, Susie, was home alone at the time. As the events outside escalated, she locked herself into a pantry and called the police.
A security video captured one member of the group mentioning a pipe bomb. The angry mob went on to break the oak entry door to Carlson’s home.
“Here’s the problem, I have four children,” Tucker told Fox News. “I never thought twice about leaving them home alone, but this is the reaction because this group doesn’t like my TV show.”
Smash Racism, D.C. publicly posted the address of Carlson’s home, as well as, that of his brother and a former college roommate, Neil Patel, who cofounded “The Daily Caller” with Carlson and is a known as one of the leading gurus in the field of online marketing.
Twitter suspended the Smash Racism, D.C’s account as of Thursday morning.
Smash Racism, D.C. is the same group that in September, made headlines when the posted a video of Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and his wife being accosted during a confrontation inside a restaurant. The incident occurred during Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearings.
