The source, speaking to People, stated “They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated. But they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore.” While we’re glad the two remain friends, it’s all kind of a whirlwind.
It’s only been about six weeks since Cyrus and Hemsworth were divorced, and her sudden relationship with Carter was something of a sensation on social media. Following Kaitlynn Carter’s divorce from Brody Jenner, she and Cyrus had been living together in LA and were dating.
In the case of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, their marriage only lasted seven months. The couple was married in December 2018, in a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. The two had been dating on-and-off since 2009, when they co-starred in The Last Song. In August of this year, however, Liam filed for divorce, claiming “irreconcilable differences.”
Meanwhile, Katlynn Carter and Brody Jenner were engaged in 2016 before getting married in 2018. The ceremony was described as “intimate,” though it was also apparently rather expensive and lavish. Their Indonesian wedding was apparently not legally binding in the US, and the couple split in August of this year.
Miley Cyrus doesn’t seem to have been slowed by the recent events unfolding in her life. She recently posted pictures to Instagram showing her climbing around the Grand Canyon, posing and looking vibrant as she explores the area. She’s also seen climbing up various rock formations before striking picturesque idol poses on her Instagram.
She also rocked a concert in Las Vegas on Saturday, with her mom and sisters in attendance. The “Don’t Call Me Angel” singer has been busy, with her newest hit collaboration with Lana del Ray and Ariana Grande serving as the theme song for the new Charlie’s Angels remake that releases on November 15.
