Michelle Obama Would Win Dem Primary, Says New Shock Poll

A new poll found that if Michelle Obama joined the 2020 race for President as a Democratic candidate, she wouldn’t just snag the lead. She would crush the competition.

While Michelle has previously said that she would not be interested in running for president, growing fears among Democrats about just who could really beat Donald Trump in the race next year means that they are looking at every possible choice.

Would you vote for Michelle Obama?

The Poll That Started This Discussion about Michelle Obama

Between October 9 and October 13, 422 citizens of New Hampshire that are likely to vote for a Democrat in the upcoming election were asked to choose between the main front runners for the race, but with a twist – Michelle Obama’s name was tossed in there, too.

According to the data, Obama would take an impressive 26% of the vote, making her far and away the front runner for New Hampshire.

Second place would see Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren, with about 20% each of the votes. Bernie Sanders, who has dipped in polls after his health scare, would only capture about 15%. The remaining percentage goes to various other, smaller candidates.

Why People Are Urging Michelle Obama to Run

Right now, it seems many in the Democratic party are scared. Support for the front-runners of the 2020 presidential election is fading fast, and some experts are concerned that no one in the race right now could actually beat Trump next year.

The infighting among the current candidates seems to be the biggest problem. Normally at this point in a presidential run, candidates of a specific party aren’t at each other’s throats quite this much yet.

Bernie Sanders recently attacked Warren during an interview, calling her a “capitalist through her bones” and claiming he was the only real candidate that could handle the “ruling class”.

Joe Biden also snapped at Warren, playing off of her campaign slogan, “I have a plan for that”.

“We’re not electing a planner,” he told a crowd.

For a moment, it appeared that Sanders could have really secured a good lead – but his heart attack has scared a lot of voters. His promise to slow his campaign down after his health scare is also sure to hurt him, even if it’s the right choice for his personal health.

Biden has been wishy-washy about the situation in Ukraine with his son, and that also concerns many voters. They’re looking for a clean-cut and transparent candidate this election, and Biden no longer seems the answer.

Michelle Obama hasn’t responded to the news about the poll, but somehow we don’t think this will change her mind.
