A man in Kazakhstan scaled the fence at a zoo to ride a giraffe.
The giraffe was standing in an enclosure at the Shymkent Zoo when the man scaled the fence. He started by gently stroking the giraffe’s neck, and surprisingly, the giraffe remained calm and didn’t seem concerned.
After that, though, the man scrambled up and over the fence to leap onto the giraffe’s back. The giraffe started to walk away from the fence, but the man managed to make it onto the giraffe’s back. He stayed there as the giraffe moved, still stroking the giraffe’s neck in an effort to keep it calm.
The giraffe, who has likely never experienced a human trying to ride it before, was not entertained by the situation. It started to run, bucking the man off it’s back and onto the ground. The giraffe turns around to come back, and the man decides to quickly scramble back over the fence.
Police are now trying to identify the man, and have confirmed that he will be arrested for the incident if found.
