You won’t believe what Madonna offered Dennis Rodman in exchange for getting her pregnant.
In case you need a ‘90s refresher, once upon a time, Madge had a brief relationship with the NBA star. It lasted several months before the basketball bad boy later ended up with it-girl Carmen Electra. (Electra and Rodman were married for 9 days before he filed for annulment.)
Neither Madonna nor Electra had any children with Rodman, but it wasn’t for Madonna’s lack of trying.
According to him, the queen of pop really wanted to have his babies.
Madonna and Rodman weren’t together for long, but their relationship was quite public. In fact, Rodman thinks that it was purposefully so.
He insists that their fling was highly public for the sake of Madonna’s career, claiming she dated him because he “was a bad boy.”
He said her “career was declining” back in 1993, hence needing him for a career boost. Apparently, he says she also needed him for something else, too.
Rodman claims that Madonna offered him a cool $20 million to get her pregnant. (Spoiler alert: he didn’t.)
“She said, ‘Dennis, you know that I’m ovulating,’” he recalled on The Breakfast Club radio show. “I said, ‘What is that?’ I was trying to f*** with her, you know?”
He then went on to reveal his claim that she’d offered him the $20 million for a baby. “That’s if the child was born,” he added.
In an attempt to make this happen, the material girl flew her then-beau from Las Vegas to NYC that day.
Yes, Rodman put his dice game on hold and hopped on a plane to quickly hook up with Madonna. Afterward, she flew him right back to resume his gambling – in fact, he says the casino even held his table. So, indeed, he did try.
It seems Rodman’s attempt did not pan out, however. Madonna’s first child, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, wasn’t born until 1996.
Rodman now wonders if Carlos Leon, Madonna’s fitness trainer, was given the same offer that he was. Leon and the pop hitmaker became romantically linked around 1995, following her relationships with Rodman, Tupac Shakur, and several others. In October of 1996, Lourdes was born.
Over the years, Madonna has had countless relationships, but apparently Leon was the first to provide her with a baby. Now, the 61-year-old has six kids spanning from 7-years-old to 22.
Rodman also has three kids of his own that are 18, 19, and 31-years-old.
