If you never want to look at a container of ice cream the same way, keep reading.
A Twitter video was shared last week that shows an unknown woman picking up a container of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream, taking a big old lick from the top, and then placing it right back where she found it.
Maybe popsicles are the way to cool off this summer.
The Texas-based ice cream company mostly sells its products in the south and is taking the issue very seriously. They have already released a statement saying they are working with law enforcement, as well as retail partners and social media, to find the woman responsible.
The internet took offense to the fact that the ice cream had no plastic safety seal, but Blue Bell explained to one user that in their freezing process, the ice cream forms a natural seal against the lid. The company promises that it is very obvious when the product has been tampered with.
The video is too short to determine where the incident took place, and no one has come forward knowing the girl yet. Twitter users are hard at work trying to figure out exactly what type of person would do this.
What kinda psychopathic behavior is this?! pic.twitter.com/T8AIdGpmuS

Tampering with food is actually a crime, and in some states can result in fines or even jail time.
