All the Dems are Running for President… Except Hillary Clinton

Democrat Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state who lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump, has officially stepped away from the 2020 election.

Clinton Has Officially Announced She Will Not Run Again

Clinton officially told News 12, a New York City TV station, “I’m not running” during an interview. She did say that she’s going to remain a presence on the political scene, and that she will “keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe.”

Hillary Clinton was the first woman to ever win a major-party nomination for president.

This time around, four female senators and one congresswoman have decided to jump into the Democratic primary campaign: Kamala Harris, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, and Tulsi Gabbard.

Trump Still Focused on Hillary Clinton

Even though Clinton has officially stated that she will not be running again, Trump is still focusing on her. He even made Clinton a major theme of his reelection campaign launch earlier this week.

Trump might want to start focusing on new opponents. All in all, there are currently 24 hopeful Democrats looking to unseat President Donald Trump in 2020.
