Trump to Resign to Avoid Impeachment, According to Trump Executive

A former Trump Organization executive has stepped forward and said she believes Trump will resign in an attempt to ‘save face’. Barbara Res is a former Trump Organization Vice President and worked closely with President Donald Trump during her time there.

While she readily admits that she could be wrong, she said in an interview on CNN Sunday that “He does a lot of things to save face.” Could Trump choosing to resign from the office be another one?

What Barbara Res Said About Trump Resigning

Res readily admitted that she believed Trump was unfit for office but admitted that she also felt that way before he was elected, too, saying that he did not have the experience needed to be President of the United States.

“I don’t know that he’ll be found guilty,” She admitted when asked about the impeachment inquiry and process. “It would be very, very, very bad for him to be impeached… I think that’s what this panic is about.”

Res is referring to Trump going into panic-mode over the impeachment inquiry, which was started two weeks ago by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Since then, President Trump has tweeted hundreds of times, conducted numerous interviews, and called for the impeachment of Sen. Mitt Romney, Pelosi, and Rep. Adam Schiff, despite none of them being able to be impeached.

“…my gut is that he’ll leave office, he’ll resign. Or make some kind of a deal, even, depending on what comes out.”

Barbara Res Worked Closely with Trump

Res was the construction engineer on some major projects for the Trump Organization, and her autobiography, “All Alone on the 68th Floor: How One Woman Changed the Face of Construction” partially follows her years working for Trump before he took office.

Having known the man, she said that she is not surprised by his reaction to the news. She claims that he never really “responded” to anything, but simply “reacted to it and got very, very angry.” Res explained that anything bad that happened was “directed at him, like they were after him”.

This is a behavior we have seen extensively in the president, who believes there is a witch-hunt against him, according to his Twitter – he has tweeted the words “witch hunt” together more than 270 times.
