We all know President Trump can’t say no to a publicity opportunity where he is the star. So it should come as no surprise that he crashed a ‘MAGA’-themed wedding not only once, but twice this weekend after receiving multiple invitations from the bride and groom.
Nicole Marie and her new husband PJ Mongelli had ‘Trump 2020’ and ‘Make America Great Again’ banners all throughout their reception hall. When Nicole invited the President, she even sent him a scrapbook with photographs from her and PJ attending rallies and previous meetings with him.
The wedding, which took place on Saturday night, was held at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey, where the couple also got engaged. According to a no-longer circulated pamphlet, it is common for Trump to drop in on a wedding at his properties if he happens to be on site.
The bride invited the President to their reception afterward, and he promised her he would try to make it. He kept good on his word and showed up once again to greet the couple, this time in front of all of their wedding guests.
With PJ’s arm around the Commander in Chief, he led his guests in a chant of ‘USA, USA, USA!’ The guests happily followed along.
