Would You Try French’s New Mustard Ice Cream?

If you’re a fan of unique and fun ice cream flavors, you’re going to love this. Or maybe not. French’s is getting a head start on National Mustard Day, which is on August 3. They’re celebrating with their very own mustard-flavored ice cream.

So how does it taste? Like French’s mustard and cake batter. It has a creamy, sweet taste – kind of like a soft pretzel with hints of mustard added.

On National Mustard Day, French’s plans to sell their ice cream along with a pretzel cookie.

If you’d like to try it for yourself, French’s will have their own ice cream trucks located in the Hamptons, Manhattan, and Brooklyn from August 1-3. Otherwise, they’ve kindly provided a recipe for the rest of us to try.

Let’s just be glad it isn’t mayo flavored.

NASA Is Seeking New Astronauts to Fly to the Moon

Many have dreamed of becoming an astronaut when they grow up… and here’s your chance! NASA is searching for the next set of recruits. They will boldly go where at least a few others have gone before.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said,

“We’re celebrating our 20th year of continuous presence aboard the International Space Station in low-Earth orbit this year, and we’re on the verge of sending the first woman and next man to the Moon by 2024.”

“For the handful of highly talented women and men we will hire to join our diverse astronaut corps, it’s an incredible time in human space flight to be an astronaut. We’re asking all eligible Americans if they have what it takes to apply beginning March 2.”

You can apply here if interested, but be warned that there are a few requirements involved, because of course there are.

How New Human Compost Is Better for the Environment

There are now new, environmentally friendly possibilities available for your funeral consideration. How would you like to become human compost?

A new company would like to help you do just that. Recompose wants to take your body and allow it to spend 30 days naturally breaking down, which they’ll then turn into a cubic yard of soil.

Katrina Spade, the founder of Recompose, said to the BBC,

“So far, 15,000 people have signed up to our newsletter. And the legislation to allow this in the state received bi-partisan support enabling it to pass the first time it was tabled.

“The project has moved forward so quickly because of the urgency of climate change and the awareness we have to put it right.”

Imagine telling that to your funeral insurance company.
