“He’s not coherent at all,” says the woman in the 911 audio released on Wednesday. The scene is Kevin Hart’s Los Angeles home, not twenty minutes after the frightening car accident that left Hart with serious back injuries.

The chaos that followed the accident is captured in the 911 calls released over this week.

The Accident

Following the accident, which caused Hart’s Plymouth Barracuda to roll off the road and pin him between the roof and the seat, Hart’s security team took him back to his house. Apparently, this was a bad idea: upon returning home, Hart could “barely move,” and he was “not coherent at all.”

On the call, an unknown woman in Hart’s home can be heard telling the dispatcher “I need someone to come get him. I don’t know what happened. He’s just here. He’s not coherent at all.” The woman on the call explains that there was a car accident outside of their gated community roughly twenty minutes prior. She explains that he hurt something in his back and that he can’t move.

On the Scene

911 audio from the scene describes a passenger pinned by the roof of the overturned car. The person on the call then describes that one of the passengers in the car looks a bit hurt but is free from the vehicle. The car’s driver wasn’t pinned, but he also received back injuries from the accident.

“It looks like the passenger is stuck in the car. The driver is out of the car, but he looks a little hurt. I think the top of the car is crushed.” According to police, the accident occurred when the driver, Jared Black, lost control of the vehicle and rolled it off Mulholland Highway. The police have stated that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Hart’s Recovery

According to Hart’s wife, Eniko Parrish, Hart is expected to make a full recovery. “He’s gonna be just fine,” Parrish stated in an interview with TMZ on Monday. We’re all hoping for Hart’s speedy recovery following this shocking and scary car accident.
