Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has pledged $2 billion through his Earth Fund for land restoration in Africa, NASA astronauts make space tacos, actress Kristen Stewart is engaged, a new Star Wars trailer, and more news.
The Bezos Earth Fund is a philanthropic organization the Amazon founder created in February 2020. The organization has pledged $2 billion towards restoring landscapes and transforming food systems in Africa, the BBC reported. Overall, The Bezos Earth Fund has stated a commitment to spend a total of $10 billion in one decade focused on fighting climate change, according to its website, revealing that it has granted $947 million to the pursuit thus far.
Following a number of clinical trials, a new blood test, called Galleri, promising to detect over 50 types of cancer, including aggressive and hard-to-detect forms, is now available for some high-risk individuals, including simply the elderly, CBS reported.
For now, it is prescription-only and insurances will not cover the test. However, qualified individuals can obtain the test and pay the current $949 out-of-pocket cost. Two vials of blood are taken and results are returned to the healthcare provider in 10 business days.

After two years together, actress Kristen Stewart announced that she and her girlfriend Dylan Meyer are getting married. Stewart made the announcement on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, E! Online reported.
Stuart will soon appear as Princess Diana in the forthcoming movie Spencer, which focuses on the three days leading up to when Diana decided she was going to divorce Prince Charles.
Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first official trailer for the Star Wars live-action TV show entitled The Book of Boba Fett, which will make its debut in December. Check it out on YouTube.
